Yes 10 years of wedded bliss.
Our wedding day had a trace of snow in April in PHX What? Yes. Our little Weekend Trip.....Snow in Moab. What? Yes. My Man, Myself and Little Rookie ( because he only likes what comes from mommy apparently) took to the arches national park on a cold snowy day. The snow did not stick but in didn't on our wedding day either. It did not ruin our plans to hike some arches though. It was beautiful and My Man and I want to venture back soon. I love the west and its strange beauty. But not nearly as much as I love being married to MY Sweetheart

Little rookie is so dang cute and I love getting to know him everyday..........especially now that he is interacting more. I can't get enough play time with them. I have been so busy......today I played more with my kids. I played soccer and met up with with "the babe" and uncle J & Auntie M (funny) at wheeler farm. My children are beautiful. Can I keep them? forever!



I love to watch kids run. DJ almost looks like he is catching air. They were racing and DJ gave Hi-C a head start. Look at how intense DJ is. Yeah Go Go Go After the races and "feeding time" Hi-C fed a big horse over and over again and then announced that he now wants a big horse, a baby cow, and some chickens. DJ agrees with the chickens. Mike and I are looking into the chickens ( not the cows and Horse):) Really.

WHat to do with a Book Cover?

Ta DA! Friday after school (stop) DJ Returns home from school (stop) With a green hat resembling some sort of Bat-boy ensemble (stop) And a big GRIN upon his lips (stop) "What is That?" Mom asks (stop) "It's a Book Cover" exclaimed DJ (stop) "I'm Batman!" was all that he said as he proceeded to fly around the corner to his room (stop) Ahhhhhhh I love that kid. (stop)

Yippee Fishin Trips Can Continue

So I know that this information may not be exciting to anyone else but...... I grew up with memories of going to "the Cabin" near Heber AZ with my family on many a holiday. My brothers and I loved building forts and playing games, catching horny toads and going fishin with grandpa R. The cabin was Floresent green and had an orange door with shag carpet interior. It was all sorts of 70's decor but we loved it. Then not many days after Great Grandma died It was sold so that those people who did not use it could gain some profit off of it. It was a sad, sad day.:( I would love to have a cabin of my own to give my kids some of the memories I had growing up. That is why when we are invited to the McFarland cabin (ranch) we jump at the chance. We thought that was all going to end just a month or so ago. That cabin (really 100's of acre ranch) was going to be sold in DEC. but..........No longer. This picture is of DJ and His Uncle J fishin in the pond on the property. My boys ...especially DJ love this place and thought this was going to be the last fisin trip and sleep over. Who knows if we are lucky anther day like this one may happen again. Thank you uncle J and Aunt M for allowing us the opportunity go "the cabin" with my boys.

Christmas came Early

It has happened. Lil Rookie finally has given me the best gift ever. All the sleepless nights and fussy days are worth it when I am given the one thing I long for since the day I conceive. A smile. All for me. It tells me he loves me and never fails to tug at my heart strings and make me giggle inside and out. I love being a Mommy for this reason. Thank you Lil Rookie for my early gift.

BIT -O- HUMOR/ LOADS and LOADS and LOADS of FUN

Laundry has never been thought of as fun Right? Well when your 4years old and your mommy lets you carry ( all by your own BIG self) a load of whites all the way to the BIG washing machine (that comes up to your chin ) ( can you imagine a washing machine that BIG) and stuff all those whites into that BIG hole that fills with water that you can't even see until you mommy picks your BIG self up and lets you peek into its watery depths all filled with water, clothes and suds. Now that is LOADS OF FUN. This is what Mommy and Hi-C do for FUN on Monday Mornings..... Tuesday Mornings.....Wednesday Mornings.......etc. FUN everyday. Kids can find fun in the mundane things of life. I guess that is why I decided that maybe if I saw the laundry the way Hi-C does then I can find the FUN in it too. I do recommend Knee pads!:)

Yippee no snow...

And it is Halloween. It seems that nearly every Halloween I have spent in Utah has been very cold and often with a fair amount of snow. Not this year. It was near 70 degrees and although we had a few sprinkles costumes were not covered or heavily padded with layers of clothing. I felt as though I was in AZ. for this blessed holiday. DJ and Hi-C love Halloween and had been planning to be Alvin and the Chipmunks since the announment of boy #3 joining our ranks. However since Hi-C has a new found respect for (as he puts it) a

"really Powerful" character by the name of Indiana Jones He could think of being nothing else. Two Chipmunks seemed to make no sense so DJ followed suit and opted for Indiana as well. Lil Rookie had no costume ( since the chipmunk thing was shot to pot thanks Hi-C ) Untill Our sweet nieghbor let us borrow a lil devil costume ta-da. Mommy was a gypsy/pirate ( depending on who you asked) and MY MAN went as a University of Mass. Lowell student ( good one Hun:)

Oh here's Hi-C for ya

He came to me a week or so before Halloween and told me that he did not want to be the new Indiana Jones........(what was he talking about?) When I questioned futher it was because he was not powerful.......(HuH?)........you know the guy with the bow tie teaching the class He is not Really Powerful. I don't want to be him, just the one with the gun and the whip. Spoken like a true boy.....not cool unless there are guns and whips. :)
